My name is Katarzyna “Kasia” Wieczorek, I am originally from Poland but moved to Dresden in 2008. Before coming to in Dresden, I studied Art History at the University of Wroclaw. One day, I visited Dresden and the city fascinated me (so many nice people, so much art, so much green, ...). I decided to stay and to continue my studies at the Technical University of Dresden.
I am very interested in history and art history. But not only art theory fascinated me. I wanted to learn how art is made in “real life” and started to study stage painting at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden.
By the way, you might meet me at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister or in the Türckische Cammer in the Residenzschloss where I give guided tours from time to time.
